Stop-Motion Photography Tutorial [VIDEO]

Ever wanted to create stop-motion photography?

Ever since Adam Mosseri declared that Instagram is no longer a photo-sharing platform, and is now focusing on video, everyone has been frantically trying to figure out how to create more video.

But, not just “more video”, but creative, entertaining, and value-driven moving pictures.

So, I decided that this newsletter will focus on STOP-MOTION PHOTOGRAPHY. After all, the photograph isn’t dead, people!

I will say that you must have some prior knowledge of how to use a camera, mount it on a tripod (or in this case, I used a c-stand and arm), import your photos to Lightroom, and finally using Premiere Pro.

The specifics of how to set up the camera, how to edit in Lightroom, and how to edit in Premiere is way more information than I can include here (trust me - you wouldn’t read it all anyway). But, if you would like me to dive deeper into one of these subjects, shoot me a message on IG! I want these newsletters to be helpful, so ask and ye shall receive!

Not DSLR-savvy?

Don’t worry! You can shoot a great stop-motion using your phone! Just make sure that you have a tripod (you can buy one for $20 on Amazon). Then you can easily turn those photos into a stop-motion using an app called ImgPlay. It’s super simple, no experience required. (inside secret: there’s a video on this coming soon…)

All that text got you frazzled?

In true Instagrammer fashion, I’ve created a video to help explain...
